Navigating Perimenopause & Menopause Anxiety
Gentle, Week-by-Week Support
Gentle, Week-by-Week Support
Perimenopause and menopause can trigger anxiety, shutdown, and overwhelm that feels completely different from anything you've experienced before.
You might notice:
Your usual coping strategies don't seem to work anymore
Feeling more numb or shut down rather than panicked
Brain fog you can't shake
Emotional exhaustion that feels overwhelming
A heaviness or disconnection from yourself
These aren't signs of failure — they're your nervous system responding to real hormonal changes. And there's a way to work with them gently and compassionately.
This structured, week-by-week programme helps you understand what's happening and gives you practical tools to feel steadier.
Why your nervous system responds the way it does to hormonal changes
Understanding the connection between anxiety and perimenopause helps you stop feeling broken and start feeling empowered.
How to recognise and work with shutdown and freeze responses
Learn to identify when your body is protecting you, and gentle ways to support yourself through it.
Practical tools for daily anxiety management
Grounding techniques, orientation resets, and body-based practices you can use anytime, anywhere.
Gentle ways to reconnect with your body
Body mapping, visualisation, and practices that help you feel at home in yourself again.
Compassionate reframing of overwhelming experiences
Shifting from "something is wrong with me" to "my nervous system is protecting me."
Sessions include psychoeducation, practical exercises, and home practice to support you between sessions
How the Programme Works
Each week builds on the last, moving from understanding to practice to integration. We might explore:
Understanding your nervous system's responses
Recognising shutdown and freeze states
Waking the body gently through grounding
Building calmer nervous system patterns
Developing practical daily tools
Psychoeducation: You'll learn why your body responds the way it does — not just what to do about it, but why it makes sense.
Practical Exercises: In-session practices like body mapping, orientation resets, visualisations, and grounding techniques tailored to your needs.
Home Practice Materials: Guided materials to support your practice between sessions, so the work continues throughout your week.
Personalised Pacing: We adapt the programme to what you need. Some weeks we might move quickly, others we might stay with something longer. You're in control.
